The ancient science of Yoga has been practiced for thousands of years – a combination of postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation and meditation to soothe the nervous system, refresh the body and declutter the mind.
When I first stepped on the mat over 20 years ago, the effects of my practice were so deeply transformative and lasting that I was inspired to look further into this holistic system. In 2006 I completed an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching at Nature Care College, and have been teaching ever since. I am still as passionate about my personal practice now as I was back then, and am dedicated to my ongoing professional development to ensure my skills and knowledge are continually refreshed – for your benefit, and mine! I acknowledge with deep gratitude the influence of my current Master Teachers - Judith Lasater, Kausthub Desikachar, Mark Breadner and Donna Farhi for inspiring me to be authentic and to teach from the heart.

You’re never too old, unfit or tight to do yoga. The beauty of yoga is that it can be tailored to each individual’s needs, allowing you to work within your limits, at your own pace and without competition. I believe that yoga is for every body - and my teaching style reflects this philosophy. In my classes, you are encouraged and supported to develop your self-awareness - to achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being, both on and off the mat.
My classes range from restorative/gentle yoga (mindful stretching and strengthening, with the use of props to promote renewal and healing) to general hatha yoga (a more dynamic practice for beginners to intermediate yogis) and men only yoga (to promote focus, strength and flexibility). All classes begin with breath awareness and end with relaxation/meditation.
